The Rasta Peth Education Society inaugurates “Abasaheb Atre Career Development & Training Center”

Senior Radio-Astronomer Govind Swarup stressed on the need to promote various skills among children which will help brighten the future of our country. He was addressing the audience at the inauguration of Computer Lab at “Abasaheb Atre Career Development and Training centre(ACDTC) of The Rasta Peth Education Society on Friday 1st  may 2015. This centre will have  different computer courses along with training in scripts of different languages. Corporator Ganesh Bidkar, Society President Dr. Madan Fadnis, Secretary Sudhanva Bodas and Sanjiv Mahajan were the dignitaries present at the function.

Swarup also stressed on the skill in parents and teacher to identify talent among children and for that there is need of institutions with amalgamation of skill and technical training.

Hon. Girish Bapat, Guardian Minister, Pune inaugurated the centre. Bapat said, ‘Such technical and skill development centres will help develop talent and skills in students and more students should take benefit of such institution.’

Dr.Prabha Atre, veteran singer and executive president of The Rasta Peth Education Society said, ‘ Apart from curriculum students should be trained with technical and skill education, this will help them lead a quality life.’
